French Pilgrimage June 9-20, 2012
2012 marks Joan's 600th birthday anniversary, and this will be celebrated
in various ways throughout France. As before, the philosophy we are aiming
for on this trip is one of going back to the essentials, of simplicity, of
quality time in some places instead of "rush-rush" in many.

of Joan of Arc's armor, artifacts and dioramas of raising the siege of
Orléans and other important places in Joan's

Mark Twain's book
Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc by the Sieur Louis de Conte, her
page and secretary. This site has the entire book written by Mark Twain
which he claimed "I like Joan of Arc best of all my books; and it is the
best.... it furnished me seven times the pleasure afforded me by any of the
others; twelve years of preparation, and two years of writing." This is a
highly recommended favorite. Check our rare books
to obtain a beautiful vintage copy.
